Members of the Michigan Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association elected new officers at their recent Annual Meeting at Boyne Mountain Grand Lodge in Boyne Falls, Michigan. Elected as officers of one of the state's strongest business trade associations were: Karen Wilson, chairwoman; Steve Arbaugh, vice chairman; and, Don Klopcic, Jr., treasurer. The election took place on July 31, 2006.

Karen Wilson is chairwoman and CEO of Central Beer Distributors in Romulus, Michigan. Karen has served the association in the capacity of Board member, Executive Committee member and has chaired the MB&WWA Finance and Michigan Liquor Control Commission Liaison Committees.

Steven Arbaugh is president of Bayside Beverage in Petoskey, Michigan. He has served on the MB&WWA Board of Directors, Executive Committee and as a member of the Public Affairs Committee.

Don Klopcic, Jr. is CEO of Westside Beer Distributors in Grand Rapids, MI. Don has served the association as an Executive Committee member, Board member and also chaired the National Beer Wholesalers Association in 1999.

The Michigan Beer and Wine Wholesalers Association represents 74 beer and wine distributorships throughout Michigan and is widely recognized as one of the most progressive state trade associations representing the beverage alcohol industry in the United States.
