Group Insurance Program
The MB&WWA Group Insurance Program offers an extensive array of cost effective coverage options and plan designs, along with outstanding personalized service and simplified administration. We intend to exceed your expectations in all the below critical areas.
Our comprehensive program line-up includes the following coverages:
Build a customized benefit package, choosing from among 15 unique Medical and Prescription Drug plans, four Dental options, three Vision plans, and numerous levels of Life and Disability coverage levels.
Consider adding a Health Saving Account, Flexible Spending Account, or Voluntary Benefits (Accident, Hospital, and Critical Illness) to improve employee satisfaction.
*Programs provided through the Michigan Beverage Collective (MBC). A non-profit voluntary employee benefit program, established in 1994, federally recognized as an Association Health Plan.
Is the MB&WWA Group Insurance Program always the least expensive available program? Frankly, no. Always is a very tough standard. But, does it usually beat the competition on price? The answer is YES! Over a period of five to ten years, our participating members invariably experience lower total costs for the same or similar benefits.
Your association’s program is run by wholesalers for wholesalers. The program derives NO profit from its operation. Instead, surplus revenues and the investment returns are either returned to you or used to defray new costs for the next plan year. Commercial insurance carriers keep these resources as profit. The MB&WWA Group Insurance Program pricing/funding strategy controls your costs over several years, not just your first year in the plan.
Cost effectiveness is also assured through the use of the latest managed care techniques and strategies: preferred provider networks, health care review services, disease management and wellness programs, large claim management, discounted/managed prescription drug programs, and state of the art BCBSM claims processing systems.
With the MB&WWA Group Insurance Program, you’ll have your own dedicated service staff who specializes in your industry and in solving your problems. Your service representative will provide on-site employee meetings as frequently as you require and at the times that work best for you and your employees. Through these meetings, your employees will be schooled in their benefit plans and how to optimize their benefit coverage.
We know that employee benefits are complicated and that the huge organizations that provide health services and process claims can be difficult for the individual to access. At the MB&WWA Group Insurance Program, we strive to get it right the first time; but, on the rare occasion when we don’t, your Service Representative will be there to help you and your employees cut through the red tape to obtain the service you deserve.
No other benefit plan or insurance carrier matches our service to the individual and to you our wholesaler members.
Your business is focused on servicing your customers, not on employee benefit administration. Whether it’s enrollment processing, dependent and beneficiary changes, employee records, regulatory compliance, or COBRA administration, we work hard everyday to relieve you and your staff of the many administrative burdens connected with employee benefits. You don’t work for us, we work for you. And, while this unique approach to administration is unmatched by competing programs, you’re never charged extra for it. It’s part of our standard service to you our members.
