FLINT – Beverage distributor Great Lakes Wines and Spirits is donating more than 80,000 bottles of clean, safe water to Flint area churches, day cares, senior citizen homes and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan as part of the relief effort for Flint residents facing the lead water crisis.

GLWAS and its employees are donating two containers of water, with each container holding more than 1,700 cases of water, at 24 bottles per case. GLWAS is making numerous deliveries throughout the community, including at 12pm on Saturday, January 30th to the Pentecostal Church of God (401 Carton Street, Flint, MI 48505) and on Saturday, February 6th at noon to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan (2300 Lapeer Road, Flint, MI 48503). Great Lakes Wines and Spirits’ generous donation is critical to the effort to protect the health and safety of Flint families.”
