PAW PAW – Family-owned beverage distributor Paw Paw Wine Distributors is sponsoring a family magic show on Saturday that will raise funds for a food bank that serves families in need in Van Buren County. “The Magic of Trino” by Trino Schincariol will be held at the Paw Paw Village Players at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19. All funds raised will go to Eleanor’s Pantry.
“Paw Paw Wine Distributors is pleased we can partner with other members of the community to support local charities that do so much for so many families in need,” said Paw Paw Wine Distributors President Dave Bogen. “We invite everyone in our community to come out, catch a great magic show and help conjure some much needed resources that can benefit a terrific organization. The Magic of Trino is great holiday fun for the whole family.
” Paw Paw Village Players is located at 404 E. Michigan Ave in downtown Paw Paw. Suggested donations are $6. PPWD is sponsoring the event and paying for tickets for its employees and their families to attend the magic show. The Village Players and resident magician Trino (pictured) –a Paw Paw High School graduate and Central Michigan University junior – are donating time, resources and facilities for the event.
Tickets are available from fat Cat Books located in the same building as the theater at 404 E. Michigan, and at the door before the show. For those who can’t attend but still want to donate to Eleanor’s Pantry, please find more information at www.eleanorspantry.com
“This community has been supportive of the Paw Paw Village Players over the years, and we wanted to do something to give back together with Paw Paw Wine Distributors and others, so what better way than to host a fun magic show that can also support a great charitable cause,” said Paw Paw Village Players Technical Director Joshua Pease. “For area residents looking to have a fun evening this Saturday, we hope they’ll catch the Magic of Trino at the Village Players and bring their families with them.
” 2 Eleanor's Pantry serves up to 1,000 adults and children a month from nearby communities who are struggling to make ends meet. The food bank is staffed by over 70 volunteers from the community with support from other West Michigan individuals and businesses providing donations, distribution and labor.
“Eleanor’s Pantry greatly appreciates the support of the Paw Paw Village Players, Paw Paw Wine Distributors, the magic of Trino and so many others to help support families in our community who need assistance,” said Eleanor’s Pantry board President Sue Miller. “Eleanor’s Pantry and the families we serve are grateful for the outpouring of support we continue to get from members of our community.”
