BRETT VISNER

VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Brett has been with the MB&WWA since 2015. He leads the advocacy efforts with the Michigan Liquor Control Commission, State Legislature, and other State government agencies and oversees the MB&WWA’s regulatory compliance programs. He has a B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University. Before working at the MB&WWA, Brett held several positions in the Michigan Legislature, including Senior Policy Advisor in the House Republican Policy Office, covering the Regulatory Reform, Energy Policy, and Communications and Technology Committees. He also served as the Legislative Director for Speaker Pro Tem John Walsh and Representative David Law.

Outside of work, you can catch Brett on the golf course, at Lake Michigan, or spending time with his wife, daughter, and their dog. He roots for Notre Dame, Michigan State, and the Detroit Lions, loves a vanilla latte, and regularly wipes out the office stock of Spindrift. Brett enjoys a good American IPA or a glass of Pinot Noir.
