SPENCER NEVINS

PRESIDENT OF MB&WWA & MBWWA SERVICES, INC.

Spencer has been with the MB&WWA since 2006. He is the Association’s chief spokesperson to the Legislature, regulatory bodies, elected officials, and the media. He has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University and a J.D. from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Spencer held several state and local positions, including serving as Legal and Policy Counsel to the Republican Caucus of the Michigan House of Representatives. He has also served as General Counsel to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Kalamazoo, Michigan. 

Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hunting, and golfing. He is a University of Michigan fan, which the rest of the staff tries not to hold against him. When it’s time to order a drink, he can’t go wrong with any classic domestic beer!
